Manual Handling
Posture Group is a leading provider of online manual handling training and assessment systems that ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and will reduce the health risks whilst conducting manual handling tasks in the workplace. The system automates the process of providing training and assessments for manual handlers and highlights any issues that need to be dealt with to reduce the health and safety risks involved with manual handling.
Following the completion of the assessments, access is provided to the online administration area and reports for each user. This provides designated line managers with a view of responses where risks may be present, with suggested action points in each case.
Posture Group's online manual handling training and assessment software has been developed by our team of 250+ ergonomics and health and safety consultants. Our consultant's have developed the software to streamline the manual handling assessments they deliver face to face. The system provides comprehensive training via a slideshow with a follow on detailed assessment questionnaire and report with the findings and recommendations on completion.
If necessary, Posture Group can provide a follow up high risk pain management service where one of our team of ergonomics and health and safety consultants will visit your premises after the assessments are completed to assist you in managing any users where further action is required, or they have a pain condition, that cannot be easily managed from within the company.
More than 3,000 companies are using Posture Group's online health and safety risk management software systems to streamline and automate their assessment processes and cut the cost of providing assessments by up to 95%.

How the system works?
  1. Users are automatically emailed an introductory email with more information and login details.
  2. Users then log on to the manual handling system and view the training slideshow with advice and tips. This provides a visual guide to safe manual handling procedures and other important considerations.
  3. Each user completes the online assessment questionnaire.
  4. Assessment data is automatically collated by the online system and displayed in an online report summary with details of further action required for each member of staff. Line managers can search for users by name.
